For this rescheduled shoot, we picked a different location and were able to meet on a beautiful weekday morning at the National Cathedral. Perhaps the one benefit of the shutdown was both parents were available during what would have otherwise been a busy workday for them.
And instead of the usual Bishops Garden photo shoot where many a photographer conducts photo sessions, we opted to go to the less-frequented side of the cathedral where the soft filtered light is just perfect for portrait photography and even better than the garden (in my humble opinion).
After having the pleasure of photographing this family several times over the past few years, now it’s like a little reunion every time we get together for each subsequent family photo session. We all know each other so well that there is a wonderful ease and level of trust that makes our time together so much fun. Looking forward to seeing them again in the spring when baby #3 arrives!
