Back in 2010, Music Together teacher Amy Despres enlisted my services for business lifestyle photography. She knew me from when my son Sasha and I had taken her music classes and remembered that I was a professional photographer. She was redoing her website and in need of candid business lifestyle photos that showcased her leading classes for babies and parents.
Several years later, another music teacher who worked with Amy in Washington, DC, Silvia Ferro, contacted me about having similar candid business photos taken. Silvia was planning to launch a Music Together business of her own upon moving to France with her family and she wanted authentic-looking lifestyle pictures to use on her new website.
For these unposed business photos, I sat in on one of Silvia’s classes full of adorable babies and their caregivers. Silvia instantly reminded of the Miss Amy I had such fond memories of. Silvia’s love of music was infectious, and her enthusiasm for teaching was undeniable. While sitting in the class, it was apparent how much the kids and parents enjoyed her, and I was thrilled to see how well that enjoyment translated onto the photographs here.
Silvia recently moved to Southern France, where she plans to start a Music Together program. She planned to use the images I took for her website showcasing her own Music Together business, Tiny Music Makers.
