Our dear friends Dan and El needed a family photo for their annual holiday cards and I was excited they enlisted my help to make a beautiful image for them. I did a quick photo shoot with them and their boys Jake and Ben last Sunday after a fabulous day included lunch up in Rockville at A & J Restaurant for authentic Chinese food on our way up to Larriland Farm to pick our own apples, find our way through the maze of hay bails, and eat kettle corn (yum). Originally we had what I thought would be a great idea to take photos at the apple orchard. The crowds at the busy farm made it tough to find an quiet, empty picturesque spot, but we were in Howard County surrounded by miles of rolling hills, farmland, and forrest so we just jumped in the car and headed down the road till we found a nice spot. What a way to end a great day. Can’t wait to make some beautiful cards with these lovely images.
