Elizabeth (Mom) wanted to take the opportunity to document her adorable little boy, Leo, at this age. Who can blame her? Her son is an absolute cutie pie and full of adventure, which you can see written all across his face. Leo has some beautifully expressive dark brown eyes that drew me in and lit up the photographs. And look at that impish smile as he plays with the bubbles! So sweet! I think you can tell from the photos that they enjoyed the session as much as I did.
The day of the mini-session mixer proved to have the best weather we’d seen in weeks. It was the only weekend of sunny skies between a record number of chilly, gloomy, and rainy days in May. The Cathedral grounds were resplendent with blooming flowers and greenery providing a picturesque backdrop for all of the photos. Considering the rest of the month, I felt really lucky that I had this one gorgeous day to work with three lovely families to capture some special memories together.
On Display
Elizabeth is planning to display these photos in a gallery going up the stairs in the center hall of their colonial home. They’ll be a lovely addition and will be something the whole family can look back on with fondness throughout the years.
