Does anyone remember that crazy rainstorm two Saturdays ago? We’ve had so much rain that memories of the rainy days are all blending together. Well, let me assure you that the Saturday before Fathers Day was the craziest storm to date this season. At 9 a.m. the sky was as dark as dusk and sheets of water were coming down. I was scheduled to do a session with Cashion and his parents that morning. We originally hoped to use their lovely front lawn graced by a grand old tree as the setting for the photos. Even indoor photos without flash would have been tough given the dark cloud cover. Everyone agreed to postpone till Fathers Day when the weather forecast was a little less precarious. Thankfully Sunday arrived with a brighter sky and dry grass. This is Cashion, otherwise known as Cashew – the best nickname ever.
