Seeing Double: Twin Photography at JKP

Twin photography is a favorite subsets within my family photo business. It occurred to me a while ago that I’ve photographed them all: identical twins, fraternal twins; newborn twins and twins who are older, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and brother/sister pairs. Scroll on to see just a few of the wonderful twins I’ve photographed.

Mea and Parrish  – In 2010, Mea and Parrish were my 4th set of twins born within a year, and my first set of newborn twins. It’s hard to believe this adorable fraternal duo is already going to be turning 6 in a few days’ time. Check out the rest of the photos from their session at age 4.

Two Sisters, Many Years – Fraternal Twin Photos Over Time

Sonia and Eve  – I started photographing these lovely ladies in 2009 and have continued almost every year since. I love to look back at how much they’ve changed and grown over the years.

Identical Twin Sisters – The Same, but Different

Juniper and Dylan – This was my first opportunity to take photos of these adorable identical twin girls. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them and their family many more times.

Identical twins may be difficult to tell apart at first glance, but each one has a personality all their own, even at a very young age. Of course, each child is a unique individual. Still, it never ceases to amaze when I observe not only obvious similarities, but extreme differences too.

Another Pair of Very Different Sisters – Fraternal Twin Photography

Olivia and Alexis – 2010 was a year of twins galore. These little darlings were my 3rd set of twins that year, and they were such a joy to photograph. Check out some more photos of these two in this post about their photo session

Ben and Caroline  – Last year, I had the opportunity to photograph these two thanks to the yearly Temple Sinai Nursery School auction.

Identical Twin Brothers

Ben and Sam – These brothers were the very first set of twins I ever photographed. As such, they are very near and dear to my heart. Their mom and I met at the Breastfeeding Center when her boys and my son were just a couple of months old.

Older Twin Sisters

Marin and Elie – These beautiful girls are the twin daughters of Rachel Rosenthal, professional organizer extraordinaire. Not only did I photograph the girls for family photos, but Rachel was also interested in mom and twin photos to display on the website of Rachel’s growing business, Rachel & Company.
